Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park (also known as Attack of the Phantoms in Europe and Kiss Phantoms in Italy) is a 1978 made-for-television musical-fantasy film starring American hard rock band Kiss and produced by the animation studio of Hanna-Barbera Productions. The film's plot revolves around Kiss, who use their superpowers to battle an evil inventor (Abner Devereaux, played by Anthony Zerbe) and to save a California amusement park from destruction.

NBC aired the film at the height of Kiss' popularity in the United States. Due to the film's poor acting and semi-comedic script, most Kiss fans disliked the film. Despite the film's poor quality, it has attained cult film status. The members of Kiss themselves despised the film for making them appear buffoonish. For years after its airing, no one who worked for the group was permitted to mention the film in their presence

Kiss meets the phantom of the park

Very satisfied with everything from the prompt service to the quality of the movie. Thank you for the blast from the past, it is not the best movie but it has great music and just a fun time. I would recommend Vintage to anyone looking for those hard to find dvd's.

After 40 years I finally get to see this movie that I never knew the name of!

I was at my grandma's house in the late 70s and remember this movie coming on TV but I was so young I didn't know what was really going on, all's I know is that I was fascinated by this cool band with paint and make up on there faces. I think I was supposed to be asleep because I know that it was really late when it came on, but I just remember my grandma telling me to go to sleep it's getting late, I was tired indeed but I just didn't want to miss this! Don't know what the story was about but liked what I was "seeing"! I fell asleep. I never saw it on TV again (if it did come back on I didn't know) found out only a few years ago that it was the band "kiss" in a concert type movie. long story short cause I rambling here, I did searches for it but it seemed hard to get now. I stumbled upon this site and would you know they had it! I was looking for something else at that! Thanks so much guys for having a site like this that caters to people like me!
